Matar Mushroom Recipe Ingredients:
- Fresh Mushroom – 200 gm
- Green peas – 150 gm
- Tomato – 4
- Garlic pest – 1 tablespoon
- Ginger pest- 1 tablespoon
- Green chilli – 2
- Oil – 3 tablespoon
- Asafoetida – a pinch
- Cumin seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
- Clove – 4
- Bay leaf – 2
- Brown cardamom – 2
- Cinnamon stick – 1/2 inch
- Coriander powder – 1 tablespoon
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder – 1/2 teaspoon (as per taste)
- Salt – 1/2 teaspoon (as per taste)
- Dried fenugreek leaves – 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala – 1/2 teaspoon
- Black Pepper – 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh cream – 1/2 cup
- Coriander leaves – 1 tablespoon for garnish (finely chopped)
Matar Mushroom Recipe Instructions:
Step 1
Firstly, put 4 cups of water in a pan and boil the peas. Wash the mushrooms, dry them, and cut them into four pieces. Put tomato and green chilies in a mixer jar and grind them to make a fine paste.
Step 2
Put the pan on the flame and add oil. When the oil becomes hot, add asafoetid and cumin seeds. When the cumin starts to brown, add bay leaf, cinnamon, clove, and cardamom.
Step 3
When these whole spices are slightly fried, add coriander powder, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, and salt to it and stir lightly. When the oil starts rising while frying so understand that your spices have been fried completely. Then put tomato puree in it and give it a boil.
Step 4
After the puree comes to a boil, put boiled peas in it and keep stirring the vegetable until it comes to a boil. When the puree boils, When mushrooms to it and add water as required.
Step 5
After the vegetable starts boiling, add cream, garam masala, and black pepper and cover the vegetable. Let it cook on low flame for 4 or 5 minutes.
Step 6
When the vegetable is boiled properly and cooked, off the flame and garnish with green coriander and fresh cream. Your delicious Mater Mushroom Recipe is ready. Can eat it with any bread like roti, paratha, and nan.

Tips And Notes
1 – While keeping the peas boiling, put one tab of sugar in the water, due to which the color of the peas will be greedy and the grains will have a slight sweetness. Which gives the dish a better flavor.
2 – You can also fry mushrooms. For frying mushrooms, the vegetable has to be boiled less.
3 – Use peas available according to the season. If not available, use frozen peas only. Fresh peas make this curry even more delicious.
