I use Chipsona variety of potatoes for this. Teens and kids love this crispy dish. It tastes amazing with the best evening tea. In this recipe, potatoes are peeled, cut into finger size squares, coated in corn flour, and deep fried until crispy. After the potato fingers are crispy, they are sprinkled with salt and pepper and eaten with tomato sauce or creamy veg mayonnaise.

This is the world’s easiest and quickest potato recipe to prepare. It is a common snack served with burgers and cold drinks in restaurants like McDonald’s around the world. This is a favorite snack to be eaten with tea at any time of the day, so let’s start making this easy recipe.

Homemade French Fries Ingredients: 

 

  • 500 gm – Potatoes big size (which are not sweet)
  • 500 gm – Cooking Oil 
  • 1 tbsp – Corn Flour
  • 1/2 tbsp – Chilli Fleks
  • 1/2 tbsp – Salt (as par teste
  • 1/2 tbsp – Blak Paper
  • 1 tbsp – Green Coriander Leaves (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp – tomato souse
  • 2 tbsp – creamy veg mayonnaise souse

Homemade French Fries Instructions:


Step 1
First of all, we will peel the potatoes and cut them lengthwise into finger size wash them thoroughly, and dry them on kitchen napkins. Spread the chopped potato fingers on a large plate and pour a tablespoon of cornflour on them, mix well, and leave for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Now pour cooking oil into a deep pan and place the flams on it. When it becomes hot, check the heat of the oil by putting a potato finger, keep in mind that the oil should not be too hot nor should it be cold. When the oil is well heated, add potato fingers little by little stir slowly, and cook till it turns golden brown. Keep in mind that we will not put too many potato fingers in the pan, otherwise they will stick together.

We have to half fry the potato fingers, when the potato fingers are half fried, take them out on a plate put the remaining potato fingers in the cooking oil and half fry them.

We will half-fry potato fingers for the first time, when our potatoes are half fry done, then we will fry potato fingers little by little in cooking oil until they become golden and crispy.
Step 5
When the potato fingers become golden and crispy, take them out on a plate put them in another potato finger oil, and make them golden brown and crispy in the same way. When our french fries become golden and crispy, we will take them out on a plate.

Now add salt, chili flakes, and black pepper as per taste, garnish with chopped coriander, and serve hot.

Tips And Notes


1 – If you have time, cut the potatoes and keep them in water for one or two hours in the fridge, this will eliminate the extra starch in them and they will not stick together when fry.
2 – You serve French fries hot, they do not remain crispy when they cool down and do not look good to eat.
3 – You can also make potato without peeling it, it will retain its nutrients, but wash the potatoes thoroughly with your hands.
