Paneer Butter Masala Ingredient:

 

for gravy
  • 3 tbsp –  Cooking oil
  • 4 – cloves Garlic (crushed) 
  • 2 – big size Onions (chopped)
  • 6 – Medium Tomatoes (chopped)
  • 2 – Fresh Green chili (cut in half )
  • 1 inch –  Ginger (chopped) 
For Paneer Butter Masala
  • 50 gm –  Cashew
  • 1 tbsp – Poppy seeds
  • 200 gm – Paneer (cut cube size)
  • 4 tbsp – Butter
  • 2 pinch – Asafoetida
  • 1/2 tbsp – Cumin seeds
  • 2 – Bay leaf 
  • 2 – Green cardamom
  • 1 inch – Cinnamon stick
  • 3 – Cloves 
  • 2 – Tbsp – Curd (beaten)  
  • 1 tbsp – coriander powder
  • 1/2 tbsp – turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tbsp – Red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp – salt (as per taste) 
  • ½ tbsp – Degi red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tbsp – Kewra water
  • 1/2 tbsp – garam masala
  • 1 tbsp Dried Fenugreek leaves 
  • 2 tbsp – fresh cream
  • 1 tbsp – lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup – Fresh Green coriander (chopped)
  • 1/2 tbsp – sugar

Paneer Butter Masala Instructions:


Step 1
First, we will soak cashew nuts and poppy seeds in water and keep them aside. We will check that all our vegetables, such as onion, tomato, ginger, green chili, and garlic cloves, are cut. We will cut paneer into cubes.
Step 2
Now we will prepare our purry, put a pan on the flame and add 2 tbsp cooking oil, when the cooking oil becomes hot, add chopped onion and garlic and fry it till it becomes golden, after it becomes golden, chopped tomato and chopped ginger will be added to it.
Step 3
Add green chilies and stir slowly, add a little water, when our tomatoes become soft, then turn off the flame and put them in a mixer grinder and make a fine paste, but keep in mind that only when the tomatoes become cold. Now we will make a paste by taking out the water from the soaked cashews and poppy seeds and putting them in a blender.
Step 4
Now we will place a pan on top of the flame and add 2 tbsp butter and 2 tbsp cooking oil, when our oil becomes hot, add asafoetida and cumin seeds, when cumin seeds crackle, then add green cardamom, cinnamon, and long bay leaves to the plane. Slow down and let them crackle.
Step 5
When all these crackle, add the paste made of cashew and poppy seeds slow down the flame stir slowly, and let it roast for 1 minute as soon as our paste is roasted and the oil comes up slowly. If it starts, we will put our prepared tomato gravy inside it keep the flame low, and stir it slowly. Now we will add curd.

Step 6
Stirring slowly, as soon as our purry comes to a boil, we will put coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt in it. After boiling inside the purry, put your paneer in it and keep stirring it slowly. you can a
dd some water as required and let it boil.
Step 7
After coming to a boil, turn off the flame and after taking down the pan, add garam masala, sugar, and kewda water, Crush Fenugreek Leaves on both the palms and cream and mix gently. Add half a teaspoon of lemon juice, if you like more sourness, then after testing purry, you can add a little more lemon juice. After the recipe is ready, after heating a spoonful of butter in a pan, add some Kashmiri chili to it and apply tempering on top.
Step 8
So take our Paneer Butter Masala is ready, garnish it with chopped coriander and fresh cream, and serve hot. You can serve it with any kind of roti, paratha, naan, lachha paratha, and garlic bread.


Tips And Notes


Always clean everything around your kitchen and gas stove before cooking so that if any of our gravy or any other spices fall by mistake, then we can pick them up cleanly.

1 – Always use fresh paneer while making the recipe, if possible use homemade paneer, it is easy to make paneer at home, and fresh paneer makes this recipe delicious.
2 – Instead of cashews, you can also use almonds, soaking almonds in warm water for half an hour, peeling them off, and making a paste can be used.
3 – If you want, you can also shallow fry the paneer. Add raw or fry as per your choice. Fried paneer also tastes better.
