 Special Notes

According to the mythological text Mahabharata, many materials and valuable gems were obtained during Samudra Manthan or Kshir Sagar Manthan (churning of the ocean of milk). Each material also has a symbolic meaning. For example, cow’s milk symbolizes our purity, honey symbolizes our sweet speech and unity (since the production of honey requires complete dedication and complete cooperation), honey represents sweetness and happiness, Curd symbolizes our prosperity and ghee represents our strength and victory. In short, consuming the holy Panchamrit after offering it to Shri Hari Bhagwan benefits both our mind and body in many ways.
