Introduction – It is a famous royal popular sweet dish. Shahi Tukda Recipe exquisite creamy texture and It is shahi named because of the topping of almonds and pistachios. In this recipe, bread slices are deep-fried in desi ghee, after which sugar syrup is prepared, green cardamom and rose water (kewda) are added to it, and deep-fried bread slices are dipped in it. Rabdi is made by thickening the milk with sugar and saffron leaves are mixed with cardamom. And rabdi is poured over bread slices. Finely chopped dry fruits like cashew pistachio almonds are garnished on top and served hot or cold. This is a great delicious sweet dish to be served to special guests at your home anytime. Shahi Tukda Recipe Ingredients:
- 1 ltr – Full Cream Milk
- 1/3 Cup – Milk Powder
- 75 Gm – Suger (as par taste)
- 6 – Green Cardamoms (finely crushed)
- 12 – Almoundes (chopped)
- 12 – Cashew (chopped)
- 20 Gm – Pistachio (chopped)
- 2 pinch – Saffron Leaves
- 8 – Bread Slices (White or Broun)
For Suger Syrup
- 1 Cup – Suger
- 1/4 Cup – Milk
- 1/2 Cup – Water
- 4 – Green Cardamoms (crushed)
Shahi Tukda Recipe Instructions:
Step 1
First of all, we will pour milk into a big vessel and put it on the flame. We will keep stirring the milk by flate spooning it, Otherwise, there is a fear of burning the milk at the bottom of the vessel. After the milk starts boiling, reduce the flame to medium add milk powder to it, and mix it well.
Step 2
Keep stirring the milk slowly in between and bring it to a boil. It will take half an hour for the milk to boil and thicken. The layer of cream accumulates on the sides of the vessel, again and again, remove it and keep mixing it in milk.
Step 3
When the milk starts to thick, keep stirring it from the bottom, taking care that the milk does not get burned in the bottom. When about 250 grams of milk remains burning, then turn off the flame. Take the milk down from the flame and add 2 pinches of saffron, 80 grams of sugar (as per taste), and 6 green cardamom powder. Now keep this milk solution in the fridge to cool down.
Step 4
Now we will prepare sugar syrup. Will put a vessel on top of the flame and put sugar and half a cup of water in it. When sugar and water come to a boil, then add a quarter cup of milk to it. After adding milk, a froth of dirt comes on the top of the sugar syrup, remove it with a spoon and throw it away.
Step 5
slow the flame and let the syrup boil for about 3 to 5 minutes. Try sticking the sugar syrup with your fingers, we need a string of sugar syrup for Shahi Tukde, don’t make it too thick. When our syrup is ready, turn off the flame.
Step 6
Now we will deep fry the bread slices. Will put a flat pan on top of the flame pour two service spoons of desi ghee and let it heat up. Cut the four corners of the bread slice and cut the triangle from the middle. When the ghee becomes hot, let’s slow the flame and fry the triangle-cut bread slices one by one till golden from both sides.
Step 7
After frying each piece golden, dip it in sugar syrup take it out, and keep it on a plate. Put the bread slices dipped in sugar syrup inside the milk rabdi. Garnish Shahi Tukda with chopped dry fruits on top. Now our Shahi Tukda Recipe is ready, serve eat and feed.

Tips And Notes
1 – To increase the test in Rabdi, add Nestle Milkmaid Condensed Milk to a cup of Rabdi, the recipe will become more delicious.
2 – After immersing the Shahi Tukda in the rabdi, you can also apply silver work on it and garnish with your favorite dry fruits, by doing this the presentation of Shahi Tukda will become very beautiful.
3 – If you avoid eating too much fat, So don’t deep fry the bread slices, To roast the bread slices lightly ghee both sides.
