Introduction – Hello friends, Today we will tell you how to make milk saves. Doodh Ke Jave Recipe is a traditional dish made in Indian homes. The festival of Raksha Bandhan is going to come on 30 August 2023 this year. Milk jaws are traditionally made and eaten in Hindu homes on this Rakshabandhan festival, a symbol of brother-sister love. On this auspicious day, after offering prayers to God, milk barley is offered. After that, all the people in the house are served with milk have with the food. Before the festival of Rakshabandhan comes, the elderly women of the house prepare a mixture of flour and water by breaking the jaws finely.
And they are made after worshiping on Raksha Bandhan. But now ready-made roasted jaws are also available in the market, and many people use them to make them too. In this recipe jave is roasted with pure ghee, After being roasted, the jave is cooked on a low flame with milk and sugar. After making jave, chopped dry fruits are mixed and served hot or cold in any way. So let’s make this traditional delicious dish.

 Doodh Ke Jave Ingredients:

  • 1 cup – Jave (Roasted)
  • 1 tablespoon – Desi Ghee
  • 750 gm – Milk (Full Cream)
  • 1/2 cup – Suger (as per taste)
  • 6 – Green Cardamoms (crushed)
  • 15 – Raisins
  • 15 – Almond (chopped)
  • 15 – Cashew
  • 15 – Pistachio (chopped)

Doodh Ke Jave Instructions:


Step 1
First of all, we will cut our dry fruits, cut the almonds roughly, cut the cashews into two parts, crush the cardamom, make powder from them, break the stem of the raisins, clean them, and boil the milk.
Step 2
Now when we roast the jave, we will place a deep non-stick pan on the flame and put 1 tablespoon of desi ghee inside it, when it starts heating up, keep the film medium and put jaw inside it and stir it with a spoon to make it light brown. It takes at least 10 minutes for them to turn light brown. If you are using roasted barley from the market, then they only have to be heated lightly by adding ghee.
Step 3
When it turns light brown and gets roasted, add boiled milk inside it and keep stirring continuously. After the milk starts boiling, slow the flame and keep stirring continuously. After 5 minutes put sugar inside the jave and also put chopped dry fruits, Stop for some dry fruits and garnish.
Step 4
After about 10 to 15 minutes, while stirring, the milk will start thickening. Consistency of milk, we do not have to think much. When the milk thickens well, turn off the flame and mix cardamom powder inside the milk jave. Take out the barley in a serving bowl and garnish with chopped dry fruits.

Tips And Notes

 

1 – We have to roast the barley made of homemade flour, the barley available in the market is roasted, we do not need to roast it, we only have to heat it a little by adding ghee.
2 – Barley should be put in milk and cooked on low flame and should be kept stirring continuously. There is a fear of burning them when cooked in high flame.
3 – You can eat Dudh Ke Jawa hot as well and you can eat it even after cooling it in the fridge. This recipe looks very tasty even after cooling it down. Dry fruits should be put in plenty inside the jave, dry fruits make a good test inside the milk jave.
