Pav Bhaji is a Marathi word in which pav means bread and bhaji means a vegetable prepared by mixing different types of vegetables. Serve to mix both, hence the name of this dish is called Pav Bhaji. This is a delicious recipe to be eaten at any time of the day for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. In this recipe, a variety of fresh vegetables are boiled and mashed, then a delicious paste of garlic, onion, ginger, green chilies, and tomatoes is prepared with some aromatic spices, In which vegetable is prepared by mixing a lot of butter and pav is roasted in butter and served with raw onion and cucumber, its taste is very good. Pav Bhaji Recipe Ingredients:
- 2 – Large Potatoes (boiled)
- 1/3 cup – Green pea
- 1 cup – Cauliflower
- 1/3 cup – Carrot
- 1 large onion (chopped)
- 1 Brinjal (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon – Ginger (finely chopped)
- 6 Cloves – Garlic (finely chopped)
- 2 Tomatoes Large(chopped)
- 1 teaspoon – Coriander Powder
- 1/3 teaspoon – Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon – Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon – Black Salt
- 1 teaspoon – Red chili powder
- 1 and 1/2 teaspoons – Turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon – Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon – Garam Masala
- 1/2 teaspoon – Amchur Powder
- 2 teaspoon – Pav Bhaji Masala (MDH)
- 1 Lemon
- 1/2 teaspoon – salt (as per taste)
- 2 servings spoon – Cooking oil
- 100 gm – Paneer
- 200 gm – Butter
- 2 servings spoon – Green Coriander Leaves (chopped)
- 8 to 10 – Pav (fresh)
Pav Bhaji Recipe Instructions:
Step 1
First of all, we will wash the potatoes and keep them for boiling, after boiling the potatoes, peel them grate them, and spread them online. Cut the Cauliflower into small pieces, peel the carrots cut them into small pieces, and wash them thoroughly. Wash the peas well in water peel the brinjal cut it into small pieces and wash it with water. We will put these chopped vegetables, brinjal, cauliflower, carrot, and peas in a pressure cooker to boil, add 3 cups of water, the water should be kept so much that our vegetables get immersed well and the water remains 1 inch above. Half a teaspoon of salt and half a teaspoon of turmeric powder will also be put inside the vegetables. It will take two whistles to boil the vegetables in the pressure cooker.
Step 2
Now we will finely chop all our other vegetables like garlic, onion, green chilies ginger, coriander leaves, and tomatoes and finely chop them Now we will smash our boiled vegetables properly. Now we will make the paste of all the spices to prepare Bhaji, for that put a nonstick deep pan on the flame and add two serving spoons of cooking oil inside it. When the oil is well heated, put cumin seeds inside it, when cumin starts to crackle, then put chopped garlic inside it and make it golden.

Step 3
When the garlic becomes golden, then put chopped onion inside it and make it a little transparent while stirring with this spoon. When the onion becomes transparent, put chopped ginger and chopped green chilies inside it, stirring continuously, after 20 seconds, put chopped tomato inside it and soften it. After stirring for about 30 seconds, the tomatoes will become soft, now we will add our spices like coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, black salt, Kashmiri red chili powder, amchur powder, garam masala, pav bhaji masala and mix everything well.
Step 4
Stirring all the spices from the spoon, we will roast them on medium flame, after about 30 seconds, when our oil starts coming to the edges of the pan, it means that our spices are now well roasted. Now we will put all our crushed vegetables inside the pan and add the boiled mashed potatoes inside the pan and mix well. Add half or one cup of water as needed and let it come to a good boil. Increase the flame, mix everything well boil for about 8 to 10 minutes stir continuously with a spoon.
Step 5
After boiling well bhaji, put a service spoonful of butter inside the bhaji and mix it well after eating a little bhaji from the small spoon, according to the test, if salt chili, or any other spice is less, then add it and mix it. One spoon of chopped coriander and according to the test, lemon juice will be mixed well, take out the bhaji inside a serving bowl. Grated cheese will be put on top of the vegetable and will be garnished by adding chopped coriander.
Step 6
Now we will cut the fresh pav brought from the market into two pieces with a knife and put a flat non-stick pan on the flame and put a teaspoon of butter on it, when the butter melts, put two pinches of pav bhaji masala on it. Will sprinkle and put the cut pav on top of the pan and do it roasted. Will roast the pav well from the cut side and heat it very lightly from the other side. When the pavs are well roasted, take them out of the plate, All the pavs will be roasted well by pressing the buttons in the same way. Now our Pav Bhaji Recipe is ready. Will be served hot. Serve with chopped raw onion it tastes great.

Tips And Notes
1 – All the vegetables should be fresh to make pav bhaji. The taste of the recipe is better with fresh vegetables and you can add other vegetables as per your choice. Cut small pieces of paneer and mix it in the bhaji, it also develops a very good taste in the bhaji.
2 – Pav bhaji masala should always be used of good brand because the taste of bhaji depends on the pav bhaji masala, if it is not of good quality then the recipe will not taste good.
3 – Along with pav bhaji, add raw onion, cucumber slices, and radish slices, it increases the test of bhaji many times and keep the amount of butter in bhaji well while serving, butter in bhaji enhances the taste of bhaji.
4 – While cooking bhaji, keep in mind that it should not be too thick and should not be too thin, the water should be mixed very carefully.
