  • 1/2 Cup – Green Whole Moong
  • 1/2 Cup – Black Chana
  • 1/2 Cup – Soyabean Grains
  • 1 – Onion (small size, chopped)
  • 1 – Tomato ( medium side, (deseed and chopped)
  • 1/2 Cup – Cucumber ( chopped)
  • 1/2 Inch – Ginger ( finely chopped)
  • 1 – Green Chilli (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon – Green Coriander Leaves (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon – Pomegranate seeds (for garnish)
  • 1/2 teaspoon – Black Salt (as per taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon – Cumin Seeds Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon – Chaat Masala (as per taste)
  • 1/2 – Lemon
  • Salt – As per taste

Sprout Salad Recipe Instructions:


Step 1
First, put black gram, whole green moong, and soybean in a big bowl, wash it thoroughly with fresh water two to three times, and keep it soaked in water for 5 to 6 hours. It would be better if you soak them overnight the night before.
Step 2
After 6 hours, we will take them out of the water, wrap them all in a muslin cloth, soak the bundle of cloth by sprinkling some water put that bundle in a bowl, and keep it on a plate for the whole night. Now we will open the bag of sprouts the next morning and see that our sprouts will sprout in it, we will take out those sprouts in another bowl and wash them thoroughly with water.
Step 3
We will wash the sprouts thoroughly with water two to three times, then put all the sprouts inside a deep nonstick pan add water, and keep it for boiling. Inside the pan, we have to keep so much water that our sprouts are immersed well and the water remains almost 1 inch above them, along with half a teaspoon of salt, we will put in that water if it.

Step 4
When the water comes to a boil, we will let it flame. It takes 15 to 20 minutes for the sprouts to boil. After 15 to 20 minutes, we will take out some sprouts with a spoon and crush them with the finger after they cool down. Mashed well then it means that our sprouts are boiled, we do not have to boil them too much, we have to boil them so much that they remain blooming and do not stick together.
Step 5
Once the sprouts are oiled, we will turn off the flame and drain all the water from the sprouts in an iron sieve. Do this carefully because the sprout water is hot, now wash the sprout thoroughly with clean water two to three times and keep it aside to drain the water.

After the water drains well from the sprouts, we will put them in a big bowl and add chopped onion seeds, chopped tomatoes, chopped green chilies, chopped ginger finely chopped coriander leaves, cumin powder, chaat masala, black pepper powder, We will add black and plain salt very carefully because while boiling the sprouts, we had added salt in it too.

Mix them all well. According to the test, we will also add a little lemon juice. After mixing everything well, we will try eating some sprouts and if any spice is less, then we can add more according to our taste.
