Kuttu Ke Pakode Recipe is specially prepared and eaten by people in India during the nine-day fast observed during the holy days of Navratri of Goddess Shri Maa Durga. Along with this, people of the Hindu religion also eat buckwheat pakoras and other dishes made from buckwheat flour on holy fasting days like Shiva Ratri and Ekadashi. Gradually, it is becoming a daily trend as well. Buckwheat is a plant of the Polygonaceae family. This plant is a little small in size, its flowers and fruits come in bunches. These fruits obtained from the buckwheat plant are triangular and are dried, cleaned, and ground to prepare buckwheat flour. In this recipe, potatoes are peeled, washed, and cut into small thin slices, then a certain proportion of buckwheat flour is added to them, rock salt, chopped green chilies, coriander powder, and black pepper are mixed and then deep fried in cooking oil to make them crisp. Serve hot with curd or Green Coriander and Mint Chutney when ready.

Kuttu Ke Pakode Recipe Ingredients:
For Kuttu Ke Pakode
- 150 gm – Kuutu Atta (Buckwheat flour)
- 250 gm – Potato
- 700 gm – Cooking Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon – Rock Salt (as per taste)
- 1 teaspoon – Coriander Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon – Black Pepper powder (as per taste)
- 2 – Green Chillies (Finely chopped)
For Green Coriander and Mint Chutney
- 100 gm – Green Coriander Leaves
- 15 – Mint Leaves
- 1 inch – Ginger (chopped)
- 2 – Green Chilli (chopped)
- 1/2 teaspoon – Salt (as per taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon – Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon – Chaat Masala (as per taste)
- 1/2 – Lemon
Kuttu Ke Pakode Recipe Instructions:
Step 1
First, we will peel the potatoes, cut them into thin slices, and wash them thoroughly in clean water. Wash them thoroughly in water and put them in a steel sieve so that all the water will be removed. Now put these potatoes in a big bowl, pour 100 grams of buckwheat flour over them, add rock salt as per the taste, add black pepper powder as per the taste and add one teaspoon of coriander powder, add chopped green chilies and sprinkle a little water Mixd cook everything. mix well by hand.
Step 2
Place a non-stick deep pan over the flame and pour cooking oil inside it according to whatever you eat during the fast. When the cooking oil gets heated well, we will put a little bit of buckwheat flour in the mixer oil and see if it floats to the top then our flame is ready to make perfect pakodas. Now we will carefully spread the pakora with our hands and put it inside the cooking oil.
Step 3
Let the pakodas remain inside the oil for 1 minute and reduce the flame to medium. After 1 minute, turn the pakora with the help of a slotted spoon. Fry the pakodas by turning them from both sides till they turn golden brown. When the pakoras are fried well and become golden crunchy, take them out on kitchen paper. Taking them out on kitchen paper will remove their extra oil. Make pakodas using the remaining mixture in the same manner. So, our Kuttu Ke Pakode Recipe is ready, served hot with curd or green chutney.

Peel the potatoes, cut them into thin round slices, wash them thoroughly, and take them out in a steel sieve. Take buckwheat flour in a big bowl, add rock salt and a little coriander powder as per taste, add black pepper powder as per taste add a little water, and prepare a thick batter with the help of a whisk. Mix the batter well, taking care that there are no lumps inside it.
Step 2
Place a non-stick deep pan over the flame and pour cooking oil inside it. When the oil gets heated well, dip the cut potato slices inside the batter. After it gets cooked well, carefully put the slices inside the oil. Only as many stitches as can be stitched in one go, not more. Flip the slices from both sides and fry them until crisp and golden. Keep the flame medium, When the pakoras become golden crisp from both sides, take them out on kitchen paper. In the same manner, fry the rest of the catch also till crisp golden. Take out the pakodas in a serving tray and serve with hot curd or green chutney.
Step 3
The third way to make buckwheat pakodas is you prepare a thick batter of buckwheat flour and add salt, pepper, salt, and coriander powder as per your taste and lift the batter with the help of your fingers and thumb. You can make pakodas by adding them to cooking oil. Some people like to prepare and eat pakodas in this manner also.

4 – If your mixer becomes thin while mixing buckwheat flour with potatoes, then you can add a little more buckwheat flour to it and if your mixer is a little dry, then you can give it a perfect shape by adding a little splash of water.
