Baby Corn Fritters Recipe Ingredients:Â
- 200 gm Baby Corn
- 200 gm Gram flour
- 1 tablespoon Rice Flour
- 500 gm Cooking Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt, as per taste
- 1/2 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder, as per taste
- 2 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 1 pinch Asafoetida
- 1 tablespoon Chat Masala
- 1 Green Chilli, finely chopped

Baby Corn Fritters Recipe Instructions:
Step 1
First, we will wash the fresh raw and small-sized baby corn thoroughly twice with clean water, after that, we will cut it into two pieces with a knife, sprinkle half a teaspoon of salt on all the baby corn, and cook them for 10 minutes. Will cover it.
Step 2
Inside a big bowl, take 200 grams of gram flour, one tablespoon of rice, half a teaspoon of chaat masala, half a teaspoon of salt, half a teaspoon of red chili powder, a pinch of asafoetida, two pinches of turmeric, finely chopped green chilies, everyone will get along well and after adding a little water, make a mixture. Will make a thick liquid paste. Keep adding water little by little into the paste and keep mixing. Do not add too much water at one time. Keep in mind that there should not be any lumps inside the gram flour paste. Mix everything well.
Step 3
Now we will place a non-stick pan over the flame and add cooking oil inside it. Add half a teaspoon of chaat masala over chopped baby corn and mix well. When the cooking oil gets heated well, dip each ear of baby corn in the gram flour paste and put it in the cooking oil. Make sure that the gram flour gets coated well on all sides of the baby corn.
Step 4
Turn the flame to high and after coating the gram flour paste, put it in the pan. Put only as many babies as can fit inside the pan at one time, not more. Fry all the baby corn until they become golden crisp. When the baby corns are fried well, cover them with kitchen paper on a plate and fry all the baby corns in the same manner. - 200 gm Green Coriander Leaves
- 25 gm Mint leaves
- 1 inch Ginger
- 2 Green Chilly, as per taste
- 1/2 Lemon, as per taste
- 1 teaspoon Chat Masala
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt, as per taste
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Cumin
Step 1
Wash the coriander thoroughly with clean water take its thick stalk and cut it into small pieces. Separate the mint leaves and wash them thoroughly. Finely chop one inch of ginger. Cut two green chilies in half. Put all of them in a grinder jar, add half a teaspoon of cumin seeds, add one serving spoon of water, and grind them all finely.
Step 2
When the chutney is finely ground, add one teaspoon chaat masala, half lemon juice, salt as per test, and half a teaspoon black salt and mix well. Our green sour chutney is also ready. You can store this chutney in the refrigerator, it does not spoil for many days.
Tips And Notes
1 – To make baby corn fritters, one should always use fresh and small-sized baby corn. Very big and ripe baby corn does not fry easily and remains raw from the inside which does not taste good at all.
2 – While frying the baby corn fritters, you can also double fry them, that is, first coat the baby corn in gram flour paste one by one and put them in the cooking oil and keep turning them and take them out and later cook a lot of baby corns together. Put it in oil and fry it golden on high flame.
3 – Before coating the baby corn in gram flour and putting it in the cooking oil, place a toothpick on the top of the baby corn after coating it in the gram flour paste, put it in the cooking oil and then fry it in the same manner as with the toothpick. Take it out and throw away the toothpick after eating.
4 – You can make coriander mint chutney and store it in the refrigerator for one week. It does not spoil, it is very nutritious. You can eat it with pagodas as well as with roti naan paratha. It is good for your stomach.
