To make the Amla Murabba recipe, fresh mangoes found in the season are washed and soaked in water for 1 to 2 hours, after which they are kneaded well with a fork and boiled.
After drying for 2 to 3 hours, they are soaked in sugar syrup for one hour. Boil it well on low flame and then keep it for 2 to 3 days and this recipe becomes edible. So let’s make this immunity booster Amla Murabba recipe.

Amla Murabba Recipe Ingredients:
- 500 gm – Amla
- 750 gm – Suger
- 10 – Green Cardamom (ground)
- 2 – Pinches – Saffron
Amla Murabba Recipe Instructions:
Step 1
First of all, wash 500 gm of large amla thoroughly with fresh water and soak it in water for two to three hours. If you have more time, then leave it soaked in water even overnight. After three hours, take out the acids from the water and dab it well with a clean cotton cloth, and with the help of a fork, swirl it thoroughly from all sides. Do this with some caution. There is often a fear of getting the fork in your hand while doing this.
Step 2
Keep one or 1.25 liters of water in a big vessel for boiling. We will boil the amla in this water. When the water comes to a boil, carefully put all the amla inside the water. There should be enough water that our amla gets submerged in it. After putting the Amla in water, when the water starts boiling, let the acids boil on low flame for 2 to 3 minutes. After that, turn off the flame cover the Amla, and leave it like that for 10 minutes.
Step 3
After 10 minutes, we will take out all the amla from the water and dry them by keeping them in the sun for 2 to 3 hours. If the sun is not shining then we can dry them by keeping them under the fan. After 3 hours, when the amla gets dried a little in the sun, we will prepare the syrup to cook them in sugar syrup. We will put 750 grams of sugar in a big non-stick pan and 750 gm water inside it and stir continuously with a spoon. Let the syrup boil. Grind the cardamom well and put it in the syrup.
Step 4
When the sugar syrup comes to a boil, slowly add all the amla seeds inside it carefully and while stirring with a spoon, let it boil inside also. After it boils, reduce the flame to medium cover it with a plate, and allow the acids to dissolve in the syrup. Let it boil slowly inside, Remove the lid at an interval of 15 minutes and keep stirring the Amla with a spoon. This reaction will last for 45 minutes to 60 minutes. After boiling the acids for 1 hour on a low flame, we will turn off the flame. Our Amla has now become quite soft.
Step 5
When the Amla cools down properly, take them out in a glass bowl and cover them with a plate. Put saffron leaves on Amla Murabba and mix well. Now we will keep these Amla Murabba in the refrigerator for 2 days. After 2 days this Amla Murabba will become very soft and will be ready to eat. So, our Amla Murabba Recipe is ready, you can store it in the freezer for many days and use it.

Tips And Notes
1 – While making Amla Murabba, keep in mind that the Amla should be fresh and of big size and should be slightly ripe. If the Amla is slightly ripe then it has less astringency.
2 – To remove the astringency of Amla, boil Amla in water and add half a spoon of alum to it. Doing this reduces the astringency of Amla.
3 – The water in which we boil Amla should not be thrown away. You can wash your hair with this water. Your hair will become shiny and silky soft.
4 – Amla Murabba should never be made or stored inside an iron or silver pen as it gets spoiled. After making Amla Murabba, it should always be stored in a glass or sugar jar.
