Wherever you go, you will find it in restaurants and hotels. You can make this recipe with both dry and curry. By making it dry, you can serve it as a snack, and by making it with curry, you can eat it with noodles, fried rice or roti, chapatti and naan. To make this delicious recipe, after washing and cleaning small boneless pieces of chicken, add corn flour, flour, salt, pepper and vinegar and marinate for 1 hour. After marinating the chicken, it is fried golden in cooking oil. After that, a solution of some special sauces like tomato sauce, chilli sauce, soy sauce, vinegar and starch is prepared, and that solution is cooked on high flame with capsicum, onion, green bells, and yellow bells. The pieces are cooked by pulse, and then add fried chicken pieces, mix well and cook. Once ready, garnish with chopped ring onions and roasted white sesame seeds and serve hot. Chilli Chicken Recipe Ingredients:

 

  • Chicken – 400 gm (boneless)
  • Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 tablespoon
  • Black Paper – 2 tablespoon
  • Corn flour – 5 tablespoon
  • Fine flour – 2 tablespoon
  • Egg – 1
  • Vinegar – 4 tablespoon
  • Soya Sause – 2 tablespoon
  • Tomato Souse – 2 tablespoon
  • Chilli Sause – 2 tablespoon
  • Hoisin Sause – 2 tablespoon
  • Garlic – 15 cloves (finely chopped)
  • Onion – 1 big size
  • Capsicum – 1 (cut into small squares)
  • Red Bells – 1/2 (cut into small squares)
  • Yellow Bells – 1/2 (cut into small squares)
  • Green Chilli – 3 (finely chopped lengthwise)
  • Ginger – 1 inch (chopped)
  • Spring onion – 2 (chopped)
  • Suger – 1 teaspoon
  • Cooking Oil – 700 gm
  • White Sesame – 1 teaspoon (Roasted)

 

Chilli Chicken Recipe Direction:

Step 1
First of all, we will cut 400 grams of boneless chicken into small pieces and wash it thoroughly with clean water. Now put all the chicken pieces in a big glass bowl, add two spoons of ginger garlic paste, add a little salt as per taste, one teaspoon of black pepper powder, and two tablespoons of vinegar and mix everything well with your hands. Now, break one egg and mix well. Now add three tablespoons of corn flour, two tablespoons of flour, and one tablespoon of refined oil, and everything will mix well. After mixing everything well, now we will keep the chicken to marinate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

While our chicken is marinating,g we will do the rest of our preparation. Peel a big-sized onion, cut it into four pieces and separate all its bulbs. Chop the garlic finely. Cut the capsicum, red bells and yellow bells into small square pieces. Green spring onions Will be cut into the white part and green part separately.
Step 3
Now we will pour a cup of water into a glass bowl and add one tablespoon vinegar, two tablespoons soya sauce, two tablespoons Hoisin sauce, two tablespoons tomato ketchup, two tablespoons chilli sauce and one tablespoon corn flour and mix it well and keep it aside. Keep in mind that the starch should be mixed well so that it does not form lumps.
Step 4
Now, after marinating the chicken for 1 hour, we will fry it. For that, we will take a big, non-stick flat pan, place it over the flame and pour cooking oil inside it. When the cooking oil gets heated well, fry each piece of chicken. Will pick up and drop carefully. Do not put the chicken in the pan, and stir it immediately because there is a coating on the chicken.
Step 5
once the coating is set in the cooking oil, turn the chicken with the help of a spoon and fry it golden brown on both sides. It takes 4 to 5 minutes for the chicken to get nicely golden fried from both sides. Keep turning the chicken pieces with the help of a spoon. When the chicken is fried well from both sides, golden brown, take it out on a plate.

No, we will place a light-bottomed iron pan over the flame, add four tablespoons of cooking oil inside it, and increase the flame. Chinese dishes are always cooked on high flame. When the cooking oil starts smoking, add chopped white ringed onion and keep stirring. After that, add chopped garlic and ginger and fry for 1 minute while stirring.
Step 7
When the rawness of garlic and ginger goes away, then add chopped capsicum, red bells, yellow bells and large pieces of chopped onion, chopped green chillies and stir well with a spoon. Toss the chopped vegetables while stirring for 2 minutes; do not melt them completely. Add salt as per taste and half a spoon of black pepper powder, one teaspoon Suger, and stir well.
Step 8
After all the vegetables have been tossed well for 2 minutes, we will now pour the batter that we had prepared by mixing sauce and corn flour into the pan and stirring it well with a spoon. When the gravy boils well, put the fried chicken pieces inside the pan and mix well on high flame with the help of a spoon. After stirring well for 30 seconds, turn off the flame and take out the chilli chicken in a serving bowl. Garnish with chopped green spring onions and some white roasted sesame seeds. Tips And Notes

 

1 – Sugar is added to the chilli chicken recipe to balance all the spices. You can also add one or two spoons of honey in place of sugar. Honey also adds a good taste to the recipe.
2 – Although the chicken is marinated for 1 hour, if you want to make chilli chicken the next day, then you can marinate the chicken by keeping it in the fridge the whole night. By doing this, the taste of chilli chicken increases.
3 – Black pepper powder should never be taken ground from the market. Always grind as much black pepper as you need and use it in the dish. The taste of fresh black pepper is very good in the recipe.
4 – To make chilli sauce, soak the whole red chilli in water for one hour, ur and after one hour, add some water to the soaked red chilli and grind it in a mixer grinder. Fresh chilli paste gives a very good taste.
5 – For making Chinese dishes, one should always use an iron pan with a light bottom because Chinese dishes are always cooked on high flame, just like the embroidery used to make Chow Mein.
