Throughout the world, this combination of rice and fish is known as inarizushi, or “aged sushi”. To make veg sushi, after boiling a special type of sushi rice, a mixer is prepared by adding vinegar, salt, and sugar.
Nori sheet is spread on the sushi mat, which is made of seaweed, on top of it, rice paste is spread in equal quantity on all sides, and in the middle of it, cucumber is cut lengthwise and avocado is cut lengthwise. After applying some special type of sauce, the sushi mat is rolled with the help of fingers. After the roll is ready, the sushi is cut into one-inch thick pieces and seasoned with vinegar.

Veg Sushi Recipe Ingredients:
- 1 cup Rice, sushi rice
- 1 cup Water
- 2 Nori Sheets
- 1 Sushi Mat
- 1 Carrot, cut lengthwise thin slices
- 1 Avocado, cut lengthwise
- 1 cucumber, cut lengthwise thin slices
- 2 Romaine Lettuce Leaves
- 1/2 cup Rice Vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon, Suger, as per taste
- 1 teaspoon Black Sesame Seeds
- 1/2 cup Soya Sauce
Veg Sushi Recipe Instructions:
Step 1
First, we will wash one cup of rice with clean water by rubbing it with our hands 2-3 times. Rice breaks when washed by rubbing with hands and boils well when boiled. Now place a non-stick deep vessel over the flame and put one cup of water inside it to boil. When the water boils well, put washed rice inside it and keep it to boil on medium flame. It takes 10 to 15 minutes for the rice to boil on medium flame.
Step 2
When rice is boiled on medium flame, it will absorb all the water and there will be no water left inside it. Spread it on a big plate with the help of a spoon, and spread it evenly on all sides. Add a little rice vinegar on top Sprinkle half a teaspoon of salt and one teaspoon sugar on top and mix well on all sides. Keep in mind that all the rice should open, there should not be any lump in the rice. Spread the rice and leave it to cool.

Step 3
Peel the cucumber and cut it lengthwise. Remove the seeds from the avocado and cut it lengthwise. Peel the carrot and cut it lengthwise. Wash them with water and keep them aside. Now we will prepare a veg sushi roll, which we will need a sushi mat which is made of bamboo sticks.
Step 4
Cut the nori sheet from the middle and place one piece on top of the nori sheet. The rough part of the nori sheet will be kept on top and the smooth part will be kept on the bottom. Two pinches of black sesame seeds over the nori sheet. Spread the rice paste evenly over the nori sheet, not too much, just a thin layer.
Step 5
At the exact center of the rice, we will place lengthwise cut carrot pieces and one lengthwise piece of cucumber, and on top of that, we will place one lengthwise piece of avocado and a lettuce leaf on top of it. Now gently roll the sushi mat by pressing it with your fingers.
Step 6
While rolling the sushi mat, hold the nori seat with your fingers and lift it to roll. This has to be done very carefully and by pressing the sushi mat with your fingers. Gently remove the sushi meat from the top of the roll. Now cut the roll into half-inch thick pieces with a knife. So, our Veg Sushi Recipe is ready, serve it with soya sauce.

Tips And Notes
1 – Sushi Roko should always be cut with a sharp knife otherwise the rolls will not be cut properly and the presentation gets spoiled. While cutting a sushi roll, one should not apply pressure on the knife. The roll should be cut by moving the knife back and forth.
2 – Along with the vegetable slices, you can also add fresh ripe mango slices inside the sushi roll. These mango slices give a very good sour and sweet taste in the sushi recipe.
3 – While making the sushi roll, you can apply a layer of rice paste on the sushi mat before the nori sheet, put a nori sheet on top, and then apply a layer of rice again. In this way, the taste of the sushi roll becomes very good.
