Uttapam Recipe Instructions:

Step 1
In a big bowl, add rawa, curd, salt, chopped green chili, and chopped ginger. Add half a cup of water and mix well. Leave this batter for half an hour. In half an hour, the batter will be ready to make.
Step 2
Now we will put our chopped vegetables in a big bowl, which we have cut and prepared for topping, capsicum, onion, carrot, curry leaves, and chopped green coriander, and mix it all.
Step 3
After half an hour, we will see our rava (Semolina) batter. If it is too thick, we will add some water to it. The consistency of the rava batter should be such that if we spread it on the griddle, it should remain in its shape. Add enough to the rava batter and mix.
Step 4
Place a deep pan over the flame and put a tablespoon of butter in it. When the butter becomes hot, add 1 tsp of mustard seeds, and when they start to crackle, turn off the flame. We will mix these mustard seeds in our rava batter. Now, our rava batter is ready to make uttapam.
Step 5
Now to make it Uttapam, we will put a flat pan on the flame and put a teaspoon of butter in it, when the butter starts melting, then after filling 2 service spoons, we will put our batter on the pan and bring it a little thick in round shape. Will keep the film medium. Topping will be spread on top of the chopped vegetables. And in a spoon, melt the butter and pour it on all sides in the round shape of Uttapam. Press the vegetables uttapam on the top with a spoon.
Step 6
Slow down the flame and cover the pen with a lid. After 2 minutes, lift the surface of the uttapam by flipping it, when it turns golden brown, gently flip the uttapam. In the round shape of the uttapam, a little butter will be inserted on all sides. After 2:00 minutes, we will lift the surface of the uttapam from the other side and see when our vegetables start cooking little by little and golden spots appear on them, then our uttapam is now cooked from both sides.
Step 7
If it is uttapam golden from both sides, then we will take it out on a plate, add two pinches of chaat masala, according to the taste, and add a little lemon juice all over. Make uttapam of the batter in the same way. Now our Uttapam Recipe is ready, serve hot, you can also eat it with coconut chutney, garlic chutney, ey, and sambar.
