- 1 Cup – Moong Dal (Green)
- 2 Pinch – Asafoetida
- 1/2 Teaspoon – Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 – Salt (as per taste)
- 1/2 Teaspoon – Coriander Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon – Red Chilli Powder (as per taste)
- 1/2 Teaspoon – Garam Masala
- 1/2 Teaspoon – Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder (for tempering)
- 4 Teaspoon – Desi Ghee (pure)
- 1 – Tomato (medium size, chopped)
- 1 – Green Chilli (finely chopped)
- 1/2 Teaspoon – ginger ( finely chopped)
- 1 Tablespoon – Green Coriander Leaves (chopped)
- 2 Cup – Water
- 1/2 – Lemon
Hari Moong Dal Recipe Instructions:
Put a nonstick pan on the flame and put a teaspoon of red Kashmiri chili powder inside it, stir it well, and pour it over the dal, garnishing it with some chopped green coriander leaves.
Now our Hari Moong Dal is ready. Serve it hot; you can eat it with roti, paratha, or jeera rice.

Tips And Notes
1 –If you are making moong dal for a patient, then do not add tomato, green chili, ginger, etc. to it; make it only by adding cumin, asafoetida, salt, and a little black pepper.
