  • 200 grams – Paneer (fresh)
  • 1 tablespoon –  Cooking Oil
  • 6 Cloves –  Garlic (finely chopped)
  • 1 – Onion (large size, chopped)
  • 1 – Green chili (chopped)
  • 1 inch – Ginger (chopped)
  • 1 – Tomato (large size, chopped)
  • 1/2 cup – Peas (boiled)
  • 2 pinches –  Asafoetida
  • 1/2 teaspoon – Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon – Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon – Red Chili Powder (as per taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon – Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon –  Red Chili powder Kashmiri
  • 1/2 teaspoon – Salt (as per taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon – Garam Masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon – Chaat Masala
  • 1 tablespoon – Green Coriander (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon – Butter
  • 1 – Lemon


Paneer Bhurji Recipe Instructions:


Step 1
First of all, we will coarsely grate 200 grams of fresh cheese. Now we will finely chop all our vegetables like garlic, onion, green chili, ginger, tomato, and coriander. Now we will place a greased non-stick pan on the gas and pour cooking oil inside it. When the oil gets heated well, add two pinches of asafoetida and cumin seeds in it. When the cumin starts crackling, add chopped garlic into it and fry it while stirring slowly until it becomes light golden.
Step 2
When the garlic turns light golden, add chopped onion to it and soften it a little. – Keep stirring slowly with a spoon and keep the flame medium. Once the onion becomes soft, add chopped tomatoes, chopped green chilies, and chopped ginger to it and let the tomatoes become soft. It will take 2 to 3 minutes for the tomatoes to become soft.
Step 3
When the tomatoes become soft, we will add spices like coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, and salt, mix everything well, and cook while stirring for two minutes. When the spices are cooked well and a slight aroma starts coming out, add grated cheese and boiled peas inside and mix well.
Step 4
Cook the bhurji thoroughly on medium flame while stirring for about 2 minutes. After about 2 minutes, add butter garam masala and a little chopped coriander inside the Paneer Bhurji and mix well. After mixing everything well, add a little lemon juice and chaat masala as per taste inside Paneer Bhurji and mix.
