 Banana Chips Recipe Ingredients:

  • 4 to 6 –  Raw Green Bananas
  • 500 gm – Cooking Oil
  • 1 teaspoon – Salt (as per taste)
  • 1 teaspoon –  Black Pepper (crushed)
  • 1 teaspoon – Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon – Chaat Masala.

Banana Chips Recipe Instructions:

Step 1
First of all, we will peel the banana with a potato peeler and make fine chips. Then we will take 4 cups of water in a bowl, add one teaspoon of salt and one teaspoon of turmeric and soak these chips in it. Adding turmeric will make the banana chips yellow and adding salt will prevent them from sticking to each other.
Step 2
Now we will heat a non-stick pan and add cooking oil to it. When the oil is well heated, we will add as many banana chips as can fit in the pan at one time and fry them till they turn golden.

Step 3
Keep turning the chips slowly. Fry them on low flame for 8 to 10 minutes till they become crisp. When they are golden fried, take them out of the oil and place them on kitchen tissue paper. The tissue paper will absorb the extra oil and they will easily become crispy.

Step 4
Similarly, fry the rest of the chips little by little on medium-low till they turn golden. Now we will add salt, black pepper and chaat masala to our fried banana chips recipe according to taste. So our Banana Chips Recipe is ready, serve them with tea, store them in an airtight container, otherwise they may get spoiled.

Tips And Notes

1 –
Banana chips should not be cut long before we prepare them, only then are cut, otherwise the banana chips turn black.
2 – Use raw bananas only fresh, not stored for too long, otherwise, the chips will not be good, and they will not taste good.
3 – Frying in coconut oil makes banana chips better, if possible, fry them in coconut oil only. Otherwise, you can use any good cooking oil of your choice.
4 – Turmeric is added only to make the color of the chips yellow, if you do not like this color then you don’t use turmeric.
5 – Mustard oil or coconut oil should be applied to the hands before cutting and peeing raw bananas so that they do not stick to your hands.
