- 1 cup – Chana dal (boiled)
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 pinch – asafoetida
- 1/4 tsp – garam masala
- 200 gm – chopped coriander leaves
- 50 gm – fresh mint leaves
- 2 – green chilli
- 1 inch – ginger
- 1 – lemon
- 1/2 tsp – red chili powder
- 2 tsp – corn flour
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 2 tsp chaat masala
- 1/2 tsp Salt (as par teste)
- 500 gm – cooking oil (for shallow frying)
- 1 tsp – butter
For Burger Assembly
- 4 burger buns
- 8 lettuce leaves
- 4 slices of tomato (big size)
- 8 slices of onion (big size)
- 4 slices of cheese (optional)
- Tomato ketchup or mayonnaise for spreading
