This dish is made by boiling eggs and frying them and mixing some aromatic spices with garlic, onion and tomato gravy. The perfection of eggs is seen when they are fried and served dipped in this aromatic rich gravy. A favourite of egg lovers, this curry is a perfect and delicious option for specials, parties or other gatherings.

You will be very happy to serve this to guests at home who want a delicious dinner. You can have this with steamed rice or any kind of roti like Naan stuffed naan rumali roti, do not forget to serve finely chopped onions along with it. So let’s start with this delicious recipe which is very easy to make.

Ingredients

Egg Curry Recipe Ingredients:

 

  • 6 – Eggs
  • 250 gm – Cooking oil
  • 250 gm – Tomato (chopped)
  • 200 gm – Onion (chopped)
  • 4 – Green chilies(chopped)
  • 50 gm – Ginger(chopped)
  • 100 gm – chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 – lemon
  • 1 tbsp – coriander
  • 1/2 tbsp – turmeric
  • 1/2 tbsp – red chili
  • 1/2 tbsp – salt(as per taste)
  • 1/2 tbsp – black salt
  • 10-12 – black pepper grains
  • 1 tbsp – ginger garlic pest
  • 1 inch – cinnamon
  • 4 – bay leaves
  • 50 gm – butter
  • 1/2 tbspn – garam masala
  • 1 tbsp – kitchen king masala,
  • 1/2 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli
  • 2 – brown cardamoms
  • 4 – green cardamoms
  • 1/2 – fenugreek leaves
  • 1/2 tbsp – cumin seeds
  • 1/3 tbsp – watermelon seeds (roasted)

Egg Curry Recipe Instructions:


Step 1

Put 4 cups of water in a pan to boil and put six eggs in it to boil. When a good boil comes after 10 or 15 minutes, your eggs will be boiled. Peel the eggs before they cool down.
Step 2
Take 2 tbsp of cooking oil in a pan and when the oil becomes hot, put the boiled eggs in it and fry them till they become golden brown after being fried, take them out on a plate.
Step 3
Now we will make purry for egg curry, put 2 tbsp cooking oil in a pan and when the oil becomes hot, add a pinch of asafoetida add chopped onion, and fry till it becomes golden, after the onion becomes brown, add chopped tomatoes, chopped ginger, and chopped green chili and add half a cup of water stir until soft. After the tomatoes become soft, turn off the flame and after the curry cools down, grind it in a blender to make a fine paste.

Step 4
Put 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a pan and keep it for heating, when the oil becomes hot, put cumin seeds in it and add green cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper grains, and brown cardamom When these spices start crackling, Reduce the flame to low and add ginger garlic pest, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, black salt and stir slowly.
Step 5
Add half a cup of water and keep stirring slowly. When the spices boil, add tomato and onion paste and mix well. Also, add Kashmiri chili powder and keep stirring slowly till the purry fry and the oil separate. You can make the gravy as thin or thick as you like. After the gravy comes to a boil, add the fried eggs keep stirring, and cook on low flame for 2 to 3 minutes so that the eggs will deep the curry.
Step 6

Stop the flame after the boil comes. Add butter, Garam masala, lemon juice, kitchen king masala, and roasted watermelon seeds, and Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Your hot Egg Curry Recipe is ready, you can serve it with any type of roti, naan paratha, rumali roti, or rice as per your choice.

Tips And Notes


1 – While boiling the eggs, put a teaspoon of salt in the water so that the eggs do not break.
2 – Before frying the eggs, cut them with a small knife so that the eggs do not crack in the oil, And there is no danger of getting burned by hot oil.
3 – You can also fry or boil the little potatoes and put them in a curry, it adds to the taste of a poet. And this new dish of yours is ready with egg potato curry.
